This is an official tribute fund to Peter Smith, to raise money in his name to continue the phenomenal work of The Christie in Manchester. The Christie charity delivers projects, equipment and improvements that are over and above what the NHS funds, enabling them to give patients and their familes access to the best care, research and treatment possible. From discovering new treatments in their laboratories to finding new ways of making patients’ lives easier, thousands of people are able to lead fuller, happier, longer lives because of their ground-breaking work, which we have all greatly benefited from directly. Peter/Ped is much loved and will always be remembered. His name lives on in our support of others.
